We’re always looking for converts, you know. Don’t let the other guys trick you. The only time good wins over evil is in badly-made movies. Not that we’re evil, mind you. Besides, everyone knows all the money is made under the table. Trust us. The bank you’re standing on sprouts yellow weeds. The grass is greener over here. You just have to see past all the red…
Apple, anyone?
Applications for staff is subdivided by the type of project, namely Manga and Manhwa. What’s the difference? Well, Manga comes from Japan and Manhwa Korea. Contact riseabove77 (sneaky_ninja) if you’re interested in the former and Saga for the latter. They can be found on IRC at various times. If you’re just lost (like me), send an email at info@entropy-manga.com or through the way of the form at the bottom.
There is a pressing need at the moment for Japanese Translators, Editors, and Quality-Checkers. We don’t bite … much.

- We need scanners for various projects. Please contact Saga or riseabove77.

- Translators are always needed; in fact, unless your skills match Vis’s in reading Chinese, we probably won’t turn you down if you offer. Not that she ever offered.
- Test Me: There is one “official” translating test. Contact us with your info, and your first chapter is your test. It depends on your likes and dislikes what projects are available at the time.
- We are actively seeking Chinese, Korean, or Japanese translators for the following projects:
- Love Catalog
- To Apply: Send an email to riseabove77@entropy-manga.com, fill out the form, or drop by our IRC channel and PM riseabove77 or Saga.
- We are actively seeking JAPANESE translators for the following projects. We mostly need very good ones, as we are looking to pick up a few more Josei in the future, which lack furigana.
- Kurosagi (Chinese translator would work, too)
- Girl Fight (No furigana)
- Yasashii Watashi (No furigana)
- Hanada Shounen-shi (No furigana)
- To Apply: Send an email to riseabove77@entropy-manga.com, fill out the form, or drop by our IRC channel and PM riseabove77 (sneaky_ninja).
- If you are interested in a current project or a future project not listed here, it’s recommended that you fill out the form and specify the types of project you like, anyway. Who knows? You just might be the person we’re looking for. If you don’t care, all the better for us.

- Take a look over at the proofing guidelines. Rise wasted her time writing it up one day if you’re really interested in reading it. It would also be vastly helpful to have knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style, which is the style guide that Entropy uses. However, it is not a requirement.
- Test Me: First impressions are key in getting this position. Although the test isn’t as hard and strict as the one for Quality-Checkers, it is helpful to note that you are applying to be a proofreader. Write your words carefully. Once you get your “interview,” the actual test depends on what script is available.
- To Apply: Grab a hold of us via email at info@entropy-manga.com, fill out the form, or drop by our IRC channel and PM an op (they have a @ to the left of their nicks).

- We are actively seeking editors for a variety of projects. Please PM Saga or email her at Saga@entropy-manga.com.
- You should have some edited chapters of released stuff to send our way ONLY IF you have edited before as well as your expressed interest (mention any preferences or particulars to avoid episodes in the future).
- Test Me: If you have never edited in the scanlation business, feel free to download the “official” editing test. It is mandatory for anyone who has no previous scanlation work to show us. G’luck.
- To Apply: Grab a hold of us via email at info@entropy-manga.com, fill out the form, or drop by our IRC channel.
- If you’re interested in a particular manga, PM riseabove77 (sneaky_ninja).
- If manhwa floats your boat, then poke Saga (saga@entropy-manga.com) and talk it out with her. Careful now, she’s not the best shrink in the world, but you didn’t hear that from me.

- We essentially need someone who is willing to QC any manga or manhwa genre, from shoujo to seinen.
- Candidates must be able proofreaders and must be familiar with Photoshop and various elements of editing. It would also be vastly helpful to have knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style, which is the style guide that Entropy uses. The proofing guide sprouts off a few examples, but that’s mostly concerning the text. To check the editing, you must have thorough knowledge of the Entropy editing guidelines (located in the editing test) as well.
- Test Me: When you email us to apply for this position, make sure you conduct yourself with professionalism. First impressions tell us a lot of things. If you pass the “first impressions test,” you will receive a chapter to QC as your test.
- To Apply: Grab a hold of us via email at info@entropy-manga.com, fill out the form, or drop by our IRC channel and PM riseabove77 (sneaky_ninja).

- Though Vis has not been given any go-ahead or permission to do so, she manipulates the new website as though it were her own. However, she cannot be online all the time to help out with regular bugs. Entropy-web is open to anyone willing to do a few odd jobs for the site.
- Test Me: You must be proficient in [valid] XHTML and an avid Entropy follower and a willing minion. Tasks will range from fixing typos to updating project pages to tweaking formatting. Nah, maybe not that far.
- To Apply: Send an email at darkfaerytale@gmail.com, fill out the form, or drop by our IRC channel and PM riseabove77 (sneaky_ninja) because Vis-a-Vis is never on and watch as they reply, “What are you talking about?” when you mention it.
Make sure to fill out everything. When determining a recipient, choose info@entropy-manga.com except when it concerns manhwa. When it concerns manhwa please define the recipient as saga@entropy-manga.com.
